Can I download eBooks and audio books?

You can download both eBooks and audio books and read/listen to them on your computer or on a device such as a phone or tablet. TOP

Do I need my library card to download?

Yes, a library card is required in order to access the downloadable content as well as all of the other databases. TOP

How long can I keep my downloaded materials?

The downloaded titles are yours for 7 or 21 days.  You choose your preference when you set up the account on Overdrive.TOP

How many e-audio books can I download at one time?

You can have up to three combined eBooks and audiobooks checked out given time. Each e-audio book will “time out” after 7 or 14 days. .TOP

How do I start?

You’ll need to set up an account in Overdrive.  Once that’s done you can search for titles on the Overdrive main page or directly from the catalog and download from either location. TOP

What should I do if I have trouble downloading or accessing my titles?

If you run into any problems, call the Library and we’ll do our best to help you.TOP

Will the downloaded titles show on my library card account?

They should, but because it’s a new feature, there may be glitches.TOP
