Do you have programs at the library?

The East Fishkill Community Library has a very active programming schedule with a combination of regular groups that meet weekly or monthly as well as concerts and informative lectures and other cultural events. Our programs are for adults, children and teens, families, singles and couples. Upcoming events show on the right side of the page and there’s a link to the full calendar there.

Does it cost anything to attend a program?

Most of our programs are free, although some events may have a modest materials charge.

Can I sign up for programs online?

Yes, you can sign up for programs online through the reservation feature of our events calendar. Remember though, that not all programs require registration.

How can I find out what programs are offered?

You can view all of the monthly events that are offered at the library by using the “See Full Calendar” link on the right side of the page. You can also change the view so it shows the events in a list, and you can use the search feature to narrow the results to programs that meet your specific search criteria.

Can my group rent a room?

The library offers use of the two meeting rooms free of charge to non-profit groups if the group has members who live in East Fishkill. The meetings must be free and open to the public. For more information on meeting room use, contact Liz Colbert.

Is there a quiet study room?

Unfortunately, we do not have the space to offer a dedicated quiet study room.  We do allow patrons to use the Cross Room for quiet study when it’s not otherwise in use. We have an area reserved for quiet individual study near the reference section.
