The FCC voted today to repeal Net Neutrality putting the Internet into the market. Some say that the marketplace is the best place for the Internet and it will remove the government from micromanaging yet another service. Others argue that this will create expensive barriers to access.
Love it or hate it; we’ll all have to wait and see what it looks like. And that means at the East Fishkill Community Library as well.
Will your access at home change? Will our access here in the Library change? We don’t know.
We will, however, continue to give the public the best service that we can with whatever we have to work with.
