Welcome to the Friends of the East Fishkill Community Library! We encourage community involvement through membership, book donations, financial contributions and volunteer opportunities.
Who We Are
We are an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) fund-raising advocacy organization that formed to advance the mission of the East Fishkill Library. We are a fun and friendly group of community residents like you who share a commitment to promoting and preserving a strong local library. We work in cooperation with the Library to provide financial support for programs, special projects, and items that further enhance library services to the community.
Our Mission
The Friends’ mission is to inform and engage the community as to the Library’s resources, services, and needs. We promote and encourage appreciation, understanding, enjoyment, and public use of the Library through fund-raising, advocacy, and programming. We provide many of the extras that make your visits to the Library so pleasant.
