Get a card: First time card? We’ve got two options:
Digital card:
Digital East Fishkill library cards provide instant– but temporary- access to the library’s online collection of eBooks, eAudioBooks, databases, and streaming services (with the exception of Kanopy). A Digital card will not allow you to borrow physical items like books and DVDs, and will expire in 30 days. Digital cards will only be created for those aged 18 and older. Visit us in person to get a physical card or email a scan/photo of your driver’s license and we will mail your physical card.

Physical Library Card:
Adults (18 and older) are eligible for a library card at the East Fishkill Community Library with proof of local residency. Minors (aged 5 – 17) may register for a library card with a parent/guardian present.
To get a Physical Library Card:
- Come any time we are open with proof of residency. We prefer a driver’s license with your current local address; if you’ve just moved to the area and your driver’s license has your old address, bring along a bill or some other document showing your current address.
- We will ask you to complete and sign a short registration form.
- Your card is active immediately!
