Anita, a German Shepherd, guided by her owner Barbara Rainieri, will be with us Thursdays from 5 – 6PM. Anita is certified as a “Tail Waggin’ Tutor” by Therapy Dogs International.
Anita enjoy cuddles while listening to children read. Literacy skills, especially fluency, tempo and expression, are worked on in these supportive and stress free sessions. Children basic reading skills and higher. Sessions take place in our Children’s Room.
Registration is required. Note that each time slot is for one person; if the time you initially select is full, check the other time slots for that day as they might be open. We open registration for slots in 2 month increments since spots are so few.
